May 28, 2014 – At around 6pm Allamuchy firefighters were alerted for a car carrier fire at exit 19, RT80 east. Upon arrival, firefighters found the truck and 5 cars fully involved and immediately requested the assistance from Hope and Hackettstown Fire Departments. Firefighters were able to knock down the bulk of the fire in about 15 minutes and continued to extinguish the hotspots for about an hour
